What is Row, Circle, Chair, Go?

Here at The Chapel we have identified 4 key environments that can help us move one step closer to God and each other through Christ.  We call this Row, Circle, Chair Go.  We believe that if we engage in these environments both individually and collectively as a church we will become more like Jesus.

ROW

ROW
(Attend & Serve)

The Row represents any environment where someone is teaching, and others are listening and learning.  This includes weekend worship services, serving in your church, chapel classes, special events like renewed and marriage matters and more.  It’s important to be engaged in the environment of the Row where we can learn more about God and His word and become more like Jesus.

CIRCLE
(Groups)

The Circle represents a smaller group of people that you gather with consistently and help each other grow in your faith.  Chapel Groups are a place to experience true biblical community where Scripture, prayer, Care and Outreach are practiced.

CIRCLE

CHAIR
(Time with God)

The Chair represents your own personal one-on-one time connecting with God and His Word on a daily basis.  You may have a specific chair that you like to sit in to read the Bible and other devotional books.  But the location is not nearly as important as the time spent communicating with God through prayer and digging into the truth of His word. This is the environment of the chair.

Here at The Chapel we call it “Chairtime.”  The Chair just represents a time and place that you set aside to spend time with God on a daily basis.   Your chair might literally be a specific chair in your house or office that you love sitting in and reading the Bible.  Your chair may be a walk along the beach or in nature.  Your chair may be the drivers seat of your car during your morning commute.  The location is not nearly as important as the time spent communicating with God through prayer and digging into the truth of His word.  We hope the following resources below will help you move one step closer to God and each other through Christ.

GO

GO
(Outreach)

Go_icons.png

Go represents the environment of putting our faith into action. It means loving, serving, and sharing with others.   Personally, with family, friends, co-workers and neighbors.  Locally, in our community and country.  And Globally, as we go into all the world to share the good news of Jesus through word and deed.

OUR NEIGHBORHOOD

In your family…on your street…at your workplace…you are strategically placed there to be a light reflecting the love of God, to be a spokesperson for the message of Christ. We call it “My 3”, but it could be more. Pray for those around you. Take opportunities to tell your story of how God has changed your life because of Christ. Be a light and voice right where God has put you.

OUR COMMUNITY

Here are some current local ministries with definite need for your help:

Curbside Carry-Out: Operated out of The Chapel (all three location). Help is needed delivering collected food once per month to area food outlets. CONTACT

Operation Christmas Child (OCC): Operated out of The Chapel (all three locations) in concert with churches all around the world. Need help in November receiving and packing shoeboxes in cartons. CONTACT

The Church Has Left The Building: In celebration of The Chapel’s 35th anniversary, the church will not meet for regular worship services on November 20,21. Rather, The Chapel will be distributed throughout our communities serving people in the name of Christ. Look for more information to come….then find ways to serve. (The Chapel will meet for a thanksgiving worship service the evening of Sunday, Nov 21 at respective campuses).

Nehemiah Center: This Chapel-sponsored ministry serves children in downtown Sandusky. As an after-school program, it is designed to encourage, empower and educate kids. They need your help, the community needs your heart for helping children. CONTACT
