Want more details? We have strategically designed Sunday evenings with the sole purpose of helping your kids take one step closer to God and each other. Here is a sneak peek at what our typical Chapel High School night will look like. Fun Event Purpose: Create shared memories and laugh together building a foundation for deeper conversations. Examples: Laser tag, scavenger hunts, dodgeball, retreats, and even Taco Bell Olympics (yep, that’s real) etc. Personal Story/Testimony Purpose: When I hear how God showed up for you, I can start to see how he is showing up for me and recognize him in my daily life Food Purpose: A magical way of helping people let their guard down and allow deeper conversations. Groups Purpose: We will read one chapter of John each evening together. Students will learn how to study the Bible, see what God is trying to tell them, and how to apply that to their real lives. Notice, groups are BEFORE the lesson. We want your kids to realize THEY can hear from God and can apply the Bible to their daily lives. Worship Purpose: Again, notice this is a little out of order than the usual. We feel students’ hearts will be more prepared to connect with God after they have had a chance to read scripture and have meaningful faith conversations. Speaker Purpose: A variety of speakers will wrap up the night modeling how they personally read the same chapter, drew out one thing God wanted them to hear, and how they applied it to their life.
